Apple Day is part of a UK-wide scheme to celebrate traditional varieties of apple and has been held at The Ballance House for a number of years.

Apple Day 2017, Saturday 14 October, 12 - 4 pm
Join us for our very popular Apple Day with apple games, local apple tasting and sales. Guided tours of the house will be available, (1, 2 and 3 pm), enjoy soup/sandwiches, traybakes and apple pie in the tea barn and visit our craft market stalls. Great selection of crafters with a range of products from honey, chocolate, fudge, horseshoe art, candles, glass decorations, teddy bears, art, jewellery, jams, chutneys and decoupage. Craft activities for the children this year include making an apple bird feeder and a stuffed apple to take home. Try out the mini-apple obstacle course - fastest time wins a Clip n Climb voucher!
